In the beginning (Genesis 1:1) the Bible says God created the heaven and the earth. The Bible does not say God created Water. Verse two makes the importance of water clear by explaining that the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and before that only darkness was upon the face of the waters. It’s clear that water was abundant in the beginning but there is no point of creation according to the Bible. Before the beginning there was God and water.
